Water conditions on the Estuary were far from ideal over the past week, with the continuation of flood water causing difficulties for anglers. However, some did enjoy good sport, with angling guide Judd Ruane reporting some success for his clients. Mark and Danny O'Neill, Co. Wicklow, boated 12 sea trout while fishing the estuary, the majority taken on mackerel strip.
