Peacocks opening family friendly clothing stores on local Irish High Streets

Wales based fashion retailer Peacocks is coming to the Republic of Ireland. This summer, new stores will open in Castlebar, Letterkenny, Carlow and Waterford, creating 50 jobs in total. The stores will open throughout June and July.

Peacocks is a family value retailer and our customers love to shop on local high streets. Peacocks has chosen a familiar, friendly and local location for people in Letterkenny.  As a business we are committed to supporting local communities and developing high streets.

The Castlebar store opens on Thursday 3rd July and will be located at Hopkins Road, Castlebar.

Peacocks stands for quality and value for the whole family.  The business is dedicated to bringing customers exceptional value for money on the high street.   The range gives customers the best of basics, starting at just €4, to the latest fashions for women, men and kids. The brand new stores are bright and fresh, with a buzzing atmosphere and gorgeous collections are merchandised to show off the brand new summer range.

Peacocks was founded 130 years ago by Albert Peacock in 1884; a Penny Bazaar selling anything and everything. The founding principle of value helped Peacocks develop a successful business that continued to grow throughout the twentieth century.

Bought by the Edinburgh Woolen Mill group in 2012, the head office is located in Cardiff, South Wales. Peacocks currently has 450 stores across the UK, with 50 further new stores opening this year. Peacocks also has a number of stores internationally, currently in Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Gibraltar and Malaysia.

The full range can be found on Peacocks website www.peacocks.co.uk, with the latest offers and deals online and social media.

Peacocks offers great value and quality fashion for all the family.
