A few graphs showing the number of properties sold in County Mayo and their average monthly prices from January 2010 to Sep 2012. The number of sales appears reasonably constant over the period - there is a definite seasonality in sales as would be expected - fewer in mid winter. The average price, however, appears to have declined year on year with a hint of stabilisation in 2012 at an average around the 100k mark.

Data derived from the new Property Price Register launched on Monday last. We noted a number of errors for the Mayo list including addresses from 'foreign' places such as Dundalk and Dunshaughlin. These were stripped out for the above analysis but the message is use the data with care.
