National Award For Horkan's Garden Centre

Horkans Garden Centre in Turlough, Castlebar, Co Mayo has been selected as one of the top two Garden Centres in Ireland and as one of the top 30 retail stores across all sectors by Retail Excellence Ireland. This is a major accolade in the Irish retail industry and this year the quality of entries was at an all time high with Horkans Garden Centre scoring over 90% in mystery shoppers visits and in quality of product and expertise.

Horkans is the home of TV3 and RTE's gardening expert Paraic Horkan. Paraic can often be found talking to customers and offering advice in their four garden centres across the country - Turlough, Galway, Sligo and Glen of the Downs.

In November 2015 the Horkans store was presented with the top honour of Garden Centre for 2015 / 2016 for their outstanding quality of service, advice and customer products. The 33,000 square foot Turlough Garden and Pet Centre has something for everybody. From gardening and growing, plants and pets, living and lifestyle, gifts and exquisite food, families and fun - it has to be the perfect day out!

The final REI awards ceremony for 2016 / 2107 will take place in the Radisson Blu in Galway on the 5th of November. Lets hope Horkans Garden Centre can fly the flag for Mayo again.
