New Christmas Market in Castlebar

Preparations are well underway for Mayo's newest Indoor Christmas Market which takes place on Sunday 20th November in the Events Arena at Breaffy House Resort. Admission is Free and all are welcome.

Artisan food and craft producers from all over Mayo will be under the same roof as the Events Arena in Breaffy House Resort is transformed into a Christmas Wonderland.

Organisers Léon Fox & Elisha Beattie are very excited to bring a new Christmas Market to Mayo, where locals and visitors can purchase handmade, authentic and unique Christmas gifts for all the family. "Christmas Markets have become very popular in recent years and our event is all about supporting quality local produce. With over 70 stalls featuring local crafts, Christmas gifts, Christmas decorations and yummy treats, it is going to be a fantastic day out, so we hope that everyone will come and enjoy it."

Unique Christmas gift ideas will include glassware, handmade christmas cards, crafted pottery, wood carvings, elegant jewellery, delicious local jams and confectionary, savoury home baking, flower displays, unusual craft gifts, mulled wine, and organic cheeses.

A wonderful experience is in store for children and families all weekend with face painting, a mini cinema and a special visit from Santa. Local choirs will entertain everyone throughout the day with beautiful festive Christmas Carols.
