21st Century in conjunction with 45 sports bodies will provide 2,800 Clubs with their own free Web Scoreboard.

A Mayo based company has launched a new website www.clubscoreboard.ie today for sports clubs across Ireland. To ease the pressure of work for volunteers and club officials 21st Century, are offering clubs a web Scoreboard completely free of charge. A Web Scoreboard is a mini-web-page for a club which is fed 'Live' fixtures, results and league tables from their sports body.

Sports clubs across Ireland feel the unnecessary pressure each week to update fixtures, league tables and results. 21st Century Sport at Moneen in Castlebar has developed its own Software Platform, eSports Manager, an SMS and web technology for Sports bodies and clubs. In four years, eSports Manager has grown from three GAA County Boards using the system to managing competitions and club games for over 70% of the Irish Sports Market.

A scoreboard can be attached to an existing club website or it can be used as a stand-alone web page. Clubs can also generate revenue from the club scoreboard by selling advertisements to local companies. This generates publicity for both the club and the business advertised. eSports Manager is used by many of Ireland's leading sports bodies - Basketball Ireland, 27 GAA County Boards, Leinster, Connaught and Munster Rugby, Ladies GAA , Handball, Hockey and Soccer leagues. The Sports Manager platform manages thousands of club competitions across 8 sports codes in Ireland.

Commenting on the announcement of the club scoreboard Seamus Kyne Managing Director of 21st Century Sports said "www.clubscoreboard.ie brings together all of the services available to clubs through the eSports Manager platform. Previously the eSports Manager was focused on helping Co Boards, Rugby Branches and Soccer leagues at administration level. We have now developed a series of tools to help club officials with their work as they try to communicate with their players and supporters. We are confident that this will make life easier for clubs and ensure that club members are fully up to date with accurate and reliable information."

The Scoreboards are fully automated; there is no work for a club, when a fixtures secretary of a sports body changes a fixture it is immediately updated to each of the Club Scoreboards. As match results are returned by officials they are immediately published to the Club Scoreboards, often within minutes of the final whistle. 21st Century can now provide all the GAA clubs in Mayo and Mayo Youth Soccer Clubs with their own free Web Scoreboard.

Clubs will be allocated a Scoreboard on a first come first served basis. Clubs should register their interest in a Scoreboard as soon as possible on www.clubscoreboard.ie
