All Ireland Golf Club Finals

Twenty teams from the 32 counties travelled to Castlebar Golf Club last week to particate in the All Ireland Club Finals which were held in the town to celebrate the club's centenary.
Among those playing were ex Kilkenny hurler Eddie Power, Dublin, footballer Bobby Doyle and playing his final time as an amateur Brian O'Donovan from Bandon.
Each of the teams had already won their respective provincial titles and Bandon captured the Senior Cup category by beating Lurgan in the rain on Saturday. Other winners were Portumna,Dunmurry,Clontarf and Curragh GC.
