Art Sale for Mayo Autism Action

Over 30 artists from all over the county have responded to the call to support the second Annual Castlebar Rotary Art Sale in conjunction with Mayo Autism Action. The Art Expo sale is on Tuesday 27th November 2007 in Breaffy House Hotel at 7.00pm.

There will be hundreds of art works on sale for this one night only. Many of these works have never been seen before. This is a genuine opportunity to see and purchase work from many of the known and hidden talents of Irish art.

It is an ideal opportunity to purchase that special gift for Christmas or treat yourself to an original work of art while supporting a local charity - proceeds from the event are in aid of Mayo Autism Action.

A big attraction on the night will be a Watercolour Demonstration by TG4 contracted artist Harry Feeney. Harry has just completed a very successful series of art programmes with TG4.  He is due to commence filming a second series of the Relax with Watercolours Programme shortly. Harry has agreed to allow Rotary to raffle his Expo painting with proceeds going to Mayo Autism.

 
Enjoy a glass of wine and sample some cheese while viewing a fine body of work.  Doors open at 7pm with an admission fee of €10.  The evening also affords an opportunity to talk directly to the artists and gain an insight into their work.  Tickets are €10 and can be purchased on the door or from any Rotary Member.
