Change of Dates for Rag Rugby '07
The dates for Castlebar R.F.C's Rag rugby 2007 have being re-scheduled, with the competition now starting on Friday 6th July 2007, all teams must be registered by Thursday 20th June 2007. Training nights will continue each Thursday night from 7.30p.m until Thursday 20th.

Its back! Castlebar R.F.C. are delighted to invite all interested in playing in the ‘07 rag rugby league to come to the introductory nights each Thurday night at 7.30p.m.
The competition itself begins July 6th.
Teams will consist of 12 players, 7 on the field at all times. There is a minimum of 4 females to be on the field at all times. Only two rugby players (anybody that has played competitive rugby in the past 10 years is considered a rugby player) are allowed on the field for any team.

The cost per team is 240 euro, spread between 12 of you we feel it wont be that much of a financial burden.

Teams are expected to have paid in full by the 20th of June before the start of the competition, there is a strict no pay no play policy this year. The competition runs for 8 weeks and finishes with the finals on Saturday the 25th of August.
It is our pleasure to host this event, so just review the rules, get familiar with them play safe, play hard. Enjoy it.
