Mini Rugby News
Training Continues as usual for the Mini rugby teams this Saturday. The club is delighted with the amount of parents who have come out to help but more is needed to keep out great start to the season going. Don’t be afraid, come along!

Under 13
The Under 13 team are in action this Saturday against Galwegians in Cloondeash kicking off at 12:15pm. Support would be appreciated and anyone with pictures are asked to forward them to the PRO John Mulligan by Monday at 11am if possible. the Address is

Under 14
The under 14 team could be in action this weekend as their game against Tuam was postponed. Players will be notified at training.

Under 16
There is no stopping the under 16’s at the minute as they continue against Dunmore at a date to be confirmed. Players are asked to contact Ray Blake for more information.

Under 18
Sunday next is a big day for the under 18 team as they take on Corinthians in the League on Sunday next kicking off at 12 noon.

Under 20’s
NUIG are next for Brennan’s babes in the league with a home game  at a time to be confirmed. Could all players contact Stuart Brennan on 086 – 8256753 as soon as possible.

Firsts
The Firsts got back to winning ways with a hard earned 9-0 win over Ballina last Sunday. Robbie Cusack gave a masterful performance with two penalties and a drop goal.
Next up is a vital away clash against Sligo. This is a must win fixture if Castlebar are to keep in touch with the leaders. Game kicks off at 2.30.

Seconds
After a great win last weekend by ten points, the seconds are back in action next Sunday in Cloondeash against Tuam. Game kicks off at 2.30.

Oldies
The Castlebar “Senior” XV are back in action on Saturday evening against an English travelling team at the clubhouse kicking off at 17:00. This is a great opportunity to come out and watch the lads in action who have played some great rugby over the years and have given great service to the club. There is always great craic afterwards in the clubhouse too. So if you can come around on Saturday, please do.

PS – All Reports/Pictures etc must be with the PRO by 11am if possible for inclusion in the news papers.
