Firsts

There was a welcome break for the firsts last weekend but it back to the important matters at hand with the draw for the first round of the Cawley cup and next Sunday’s vital game against Galwegians in Cloondeash, this is a must win game for the team as they prepare for some very vital games against Monivea, Buccaneers and Westport after Christmas. It is fair to say that these games could decide the league. But a loss to Galwegians would make these games useless so it is important to keep the momentum going. Kick off is at 3pm.

Ladies

The ladies are continuing to train ahead of the beginning of their own season that will begin shortly. Training has changed to Friday evenings. Contact Nicola for more information.

Underage Rugby News

Training continues at the usual times for all under 14, 16 and 18 teams. it is important that players bring the proper boots for training as conditions will get very wet over the next couple of weeks.

Mini rugby News

It was planned to have a blitz at home against Tuam. However Tuam have cancelled due to the fact that they are travelling to Dublin to the USA game. There is no confirmation on a re fix at the moment but all parents and players are asked to listen to mid west radio for more details towards the end of the week. If no blitz goes ahead there will be training at the usual time. Players are also reminded to bring their gum shields with them on Saturday.
