Firsts

It was not to be for the firsts on Sunday last when a tough Loughrea side held them scoreless throughout the game and despite their best efforts could not get the score that would have won the game. Next up is a home game against Galwegians. Being the last game of the year before the Christmas, everyone is invited to come out and show their support and take part in the festivities and entertainment afterwards.

Action continues this weekend for the seconds when they take on Ballina. A win here will be a great result before the Christmas break. Training continues on Friday nights.

Mini Rugby/Underage

The Mini’s took on Sligo at the weekend and it’s a credit that the games were played in terrible conditions. As always the lads gave a great account of themselves and some great performances was the order of the day all age groups from under 7 to under 12. next weekend the club recognise the great performances and players of 2006 with a presentation day starting after training next Saturday. Everyone is invited to come along and take part especially parents.

Players will be notified of a game at training on Friday evening.

Under 20

Training continues as usual on Friday evenings.

Race Night

The Club had a great race night in Tolsters on Friday night and a special word of thanks goes out to those who bought horses, ran the betting, to Trevor and Paddy for a job well done in keeping an eye on things and to Paddy Durcan for a great job during the Auction race. Special thanks must go to those who bought auction race horses, without doubt one of the highlights of the whole evening.
