The Club held Its AGM On Tuesday Last at the clubhouse and the club looked back at what was a successful year at all levels. The Following Officers were elected:

Castlebar RFC
Reunion
Weekend
The Club Hosted a very successful reunion weekend in Castlebar on the weekend of the 19th and 20th of May. Past players who had worn the jersey in the past arrived to share their memories over a weekend that also saw the unveiling of the club’s president’s board at the clubhouse. The club would like to thank the management and staff of the Welcome Inn Hotel and TF Royal hotel and Theatre for their excellent facilities and a special word of Congratulations to the committee for a job well done.
Underage Awards
The underage stars of Castlebar RFC were honoured at a special event held at Cloondeash on Thursday week last.
It was an ideal way to end the season that saw Castlebar Take two
Connaught
shield titles and certainly proves that the future is very bright in the club.

Summer Scrummage
Castlebar will once again host a Summer Scrummage camp run by the Connacht Branch of the IRFU and Sponsored by Ulster Bank in late July and Early August. Details are available through the Connaught Branch Website

Rag Rugby 2007
Castlebar RFC’s Rag Rugby tournament for 2007 is nearly upon us again and there will be an introduction night on Wednesday. Full details (and the RULES) are on the Club Website
