Firsts

The firsts are in action this weekend as the Connacht Junior league gets underway with an away tie against Corinthians. This game kicks off in Corinthian park in Galway at 3pm and players will be notified about travel arrangements at training on Thursday evening. Support will be vital for the first game of the season in a season where there is a lot expected. Training continues at the usual times.

Youths news

Youths training resumes on Wednesday evening with a bus leaving the courthouse at 6.30pm. The opening match of the season takes place on Sunday with a clash against Westport. More details at training.

Underage news

Castlebar’s Mini rugby will resume on the 2nd of October for all under 7,8,9 and 10 players with training starting at 11am. All players and parents are invited to attend and a good day is expected. All new players welcome.

The under 11 and under 12 teams are in action on the same day with the National Blitz taking place in Athlone. As a result there will be training for the under 12 team on Thursday evening at 6pm. It is important that all players are there for training. They will also be informed about travel arrangements for the match.

Membership

Membership will be due shortly, members will be notified.
