Firsts

The Firsts are in action next Sunday with a vital league game against Ballinasloe. A win here will put them in a strong position as regards qualification for the All Ireland Junior cup. Kick off is at 1pm with refreshments and the Ireland match afterwards in the Clubhouse. All Welcome.

Under 16

The Under 16 team were in action on Saturday and beat Tuam in a friendly 14-7. Training continues as Usual and it is important that as many as possible attend training.

Under 18

Castlebar U-18’s travelled to Ballina on Sunday with only 13 players, some of their teammates opting out at a very late stage.

Despite this, the team turned in a very gutsy performance, and showed that this is the basis of a very good team.

There are some hugely talented players at this level, but we need to get more players to ensure a full side. All new members are very welcome.

The league continues next weekend, with a home game against Galwegians on Sunday Feb 4th – Kick off is at 12.00, so that we can watch Wales vs Ireland in the clubhouse.

Training continues at 7.30 on the pitch on Wednesday, and to repeat, new members are very welcome.

Scorers – Joe Rogan, Damien McLoughlin, Shane Casey(tries), Neil Douglas (1 conversion).
