Firsts

It’s back to cup action for the firsts on Sunday when they travel to the green for the Cawley cup quarterfinal with Dunmore. It has been stressed so many times that this could be the competition for us after the first round shocks and the possibility of an all Mayo final is very real indeed. It is important that as many as possible get out and support the lads as this is a true test. The game kicks off at 3:00pm.

Mini Blitz 2007!

After the excitement of last weekend and the St Patrick’s celebrations, Castlebar RFC’s young guns once again prepare for the heat of battle with two very important blitzes this weekend. The under 11 side head to Monivea for the Connaught Blitz and hopes are high of a good performance while the under 7’s, 8’s, 9’s, 10’s and 12 teams head to Ballinrobe. With the season starting to wind down it is great that we have had so many great players and teams this year and it is true to say that the future of Castlebar RFC is very bright indeed. We will have a full report in next week’s edition. Best of luck to all teams.

Annual Dress Dance

The dress dance will be held on Saturday 21st April in Breaffy House Hotel. Tickets cost fifty Euro and are available from Club Officers later.
