Summer Tag Tournament

Castlebar Rugby Club host their annual Summer Tag Tournament starting Thursday June 23rd running each Thursday evening until Finals night on Friday August 5th. Teams are asked to register by email to castlebartag@gmail.com by Tuesday June 21st.

Each year this proves to be a funfilled 6 weeks and this year promises to be even better. The exact league format will be confirmed when all teams have been registered but we hope to have each team playing 2 matches each Thursday with all teams meeting each other at least once during the competition.

As ever the social scene of the tournament will be well catered for, the clubhouse will be opened for all the Thursday nights with entertainment planned for each night and shower facilities available. Over the last number of years many strong friendships have been built up through Tag and I have no doubt this year will prove to be no different.

The cost per player is E25, matches begin at 7pm sharp each Thursday. For a taster we have tag training each Tuesday in the rugby pitch, this is an ideal opportunity for new players to come out to experience the craic!!
