Firsts
All was hopeful of a big game and performance against Galwegians on Sunday last. However, the weather conspired against us and the game was called off. A pity considering the run of form that the firsts had put up. next Sunday the firsts are scheduled to play Loughrea in a very important game. A win here would put us in a very strong position as regards top four and qualification for the All Ireland cup which would be a wonderful achievement. It also keeps us in touch with the leaders. The game is fixed for Loughrea kicking off at 2.30.
Seconds/development Squad.
There was no game for the seconds at the weekend due to the weather. Next up is Ballinrobe with the game due to go ahead on Sunday at 2.30. players are asked to stay in touch for more information. Training continues on Friday nights.
Mini Rugby/Underage
Unfortunately there was no blitz in Ballina due to the weather but this will be refixed in the new year. Training continues as usual on Saturday. Parents are also asked to come out and support the race night on Friday night next in Tolsters.

Under 16
Training continues on Wednesday nights at the usual time. Players will also be notified of forthcoming games.
Under 18
Training continues as usual on Friday nights.
Under 20
Training continues as usual on Friday evenings.

Race Night
Castlebar RFC Race night will take place in Tolsters this Friday the 8th of December starting at 9pm. This is an important fundraiser for the club and all support would be appreciated.
Lotto
The Lotto was held last Friday night in Rocky’s. a good night was held by all and the winning numbers drawn were 2,3,14 and 19.
