The firsts had a quiet weekend but are preparing for their final game of the season when they face Gort in their final game of the season. Training continues as usual.
The seconds were drawn in the Ard Na Cregg to play Ballyhaunis. However this game did not go ahead again. It is now possible that the game might be played next weekend Players are asked to stay tuned to local radio for more details and to contact Michael Cunningham if unavailable.
The season is now over for the ladies after their final game of the season against Carrickfergus last weekend. However all players are reminded that there are friendlies coming up in the next couple of weeks and training continues as usual.
The Castlebar Under 8 and under 9 teams are in action on Saturday and have home advantage when they take are involved in the Connacht blitz in Castlebar starting at 11am sharp. The under 10,11 and 12 teams are also in action in a blitz against Creggs the bus leaves at quarter past nine.
The under 16 team had a great win against Monivea in the plate at the weekend and are now through to the semi final. The date for this is down for next weekend with their opponents named as Creggs. Everyone is asked to come out and support
The under 18 team are now in full training head of their important plate clash at the weekend their opponents are Ballinrobe and players will be notified at training on the details of kick off etc. Training continues on Wednesday night
Members are asked to stay tuned to MWR and CRC for details on upcoming games as at the time of writing certain games may not go ahead.
There was no winner of last month’s draw so the jackpot rises to a very nice 3,800 euro. The draw is taking place in the Welcome Inn hotel on Friday night. All are welcome.
