Firsts

The firsts finished their season with a defeat at the hands of Sligo on Sunday last at Cloondeash. There will be a couple of friendlies before the end of the season but for most it will be a chance to rest the bones until next season.

Seconds

The seconds are still very much in the hunt in the Ard Na Cregg Shield with an excellent win over Loughrea on Wednesday night and are in the semi finals of the Mayo Seconds league. More news on this in next weeks issue.

Mini Rugby

No date has been set on the Connacht under 8 and under 9 blitz that had to be cancelled last weekend due to the bad weather and the state of the pitch. We will have a date on this next week.

Dress Dance

Due to a clash of dates, the Dress Dance has now been moved back a week to Friday 28th April, in the clubhouse.

Lotto: The draw was held on Friday night in Johnny McHales Castlebar with a Jackpot of 7,300. More news on the draw next week.

Castlebar RFC would like to wish our neighbours in Westport the best of luck in the finals of the Junior and Ard Na Cregg Cup competition on Sunday. We also wish them the best in their league decider on Wednesday.
