With over 150 million members, in over 200 countries on LinkedIn are you really getting back your investment of time setting up and updating your profile? It is the world's largest professional network. Are you even registered on the site? Do you know why or how to "really" use it? LinkedIn connects you to your contacts and helps you exchange Ideas, knowledge and opportunities with a broad network of professionals. Do you want to do more with your LinkedIn profile and make it work for you? Do you want to learn how to sell yourself and maximize you on-line influence? LinkedIn is now seen as a key tool for professionals and those not using the tool to its full potential are missing out.

In this FREE training session, networking expert and JCI Trainer Derek Reilly will share with you his insight into how to maximize your LinkedIn profile and get from where you are to where you want to be. The February meeting of JCI Mayo will focus on whether you are "LinkedIn or LinkedOut" of this increasingly important social network.

Belmullet based businessman Derek Reilly will show you the basics of how to start and maintain a LinkedIn Profile. Derek has been a user of the site for nearly 5 years now and has built up a reputation of what you should be doing and what not to be doing. Taking place on Thursday the 23rd of February in the Harlequin Hotel, Castlebar at 7:30pm. Derek hopes to give the attendees valuable take home notes and tips on how to be really "LinkedIn". This is a free event but you have to register on the JCI Mayo Facebook or LinkedIn pages.

JCI Mayo is part of an international organisation aimed at attracting members aged 18-40 focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship and active citizenship. The organisation has a strong focus on developing young leaders by involving them in the running of many worthwhile projects which add to and enhance community life in Mayo.
