Volunteers Needed for The Tourist Office in Castlebar

We are currently looking for volunteers to work with us at the Tourist Office, as a Tourist Information Assistant. If you are interested in promoting Castlebar and the surrounding areas, have good local knowledge and can do it all whilst smiling then we want to hear from you. What's Involved

Assist in Castlebar's Tourist Information office. Tasks will include answering phones, keeping the office tidy and organised and helping members of the public that use the Tourist Information Service. Volunteers should have good local knowledge of the area, businesses and services. They should be fluent in English,computer literate , personable and helpful. There are two shifts 10am-2pm and 2pm-5pm, volunteers may choose either.

What's required for this position

Personable. Have a knowledge of Castlebar and the surrounding area would be an advantage.

Morning , Afternoon, Evening

Minimum time commitment: 6 months

Hours required: 4hrs Weekly
