Have you got your fancy dress sorted out yet for Bucko's Great Charity Fancy Dress & Tash Swap in Linenhall Street, Castlebar? Be it as Superman or a Matrix Trinity, come on down & join in on what can only be Bucko’s slice of a life less ordinary. On the night costumes will be judged, spot prizes will be won, Kieran "Dusty" Munnelly will MC, Finbar Hoban will DJ & all will be surrounded by the wonderful well placed Halloween decorations painstakingly created by the Bucko's school of interior design. While fancy dress on the night is not compulsory, you will stand a better chance of getting through the crowds at the door as your favourite super hero to enjoy a customary great Bucko’s night on Bank Holiday Saturday 27th October.

Also on the night will be "Bucko’s Great Charity Tash Swap" where seventeen volunteers have agreed to either shave their beards/goatees or subject themselves to weeks of ridicule growing facial follicles to support Karen Conway, Castlebar as she raises funds for the St. John of God, Child Development Centre which she will be travelling to in Malawi, Africa. These brave seventeen who threw their razors to the wind include Stephen Bourke, Ger Deere, Colin Francis, Alan Gavin, John Gibbons, Martin Goonan, Eoin Guilfoyle, Brendan Henaghan, Finbar Hoban, Ruari Kelly, Tom Lyons (Balla), Philip McDonagh, Pat McGrath, Ger Moohan, John Neary (Foxford), Adrian Mills & Tommy Walsh. Despite some loved ones not being happy with the proposed growing of or shaving of facial hair, under the watchful eye of proprietor Mr Tommy Walsh who is currently sporting his new look beard for the night, razors will be produced, looks will be altered, craic will be had & hopefully funds raised to aid work with disadvantaged children in Bucko’s, Saturday night 27th October at 9.00pm.
