The Cresham Academy of Irish Dancing is directed by Bernadine and Louise Cresham TCRG. both of whom are nationally certified by the An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha and renowned for their own achievements and performances.

Both sisters perfomed on "The Late Late Show" as teenagers 19 years ago and in 1994 were asked to join 20 musicians and dancers for The Annual Comhaltas Tour of Britain Echoes of Érin.

Situated Between Louisburgh and Castlebar they hold classes all across Mayo including areas in Galway. The School has competed at local, national and world level including their annual trip to Glasgow every October with both figure and solo dancing, each dancer, however, has a choice to compete and may take classes for his/her own enjoyment and fun!!

The school performs at many events including weddings, cabarets, the annual Four Day Walks and other events and festivals throughout the country. Participants get such fantastic enjoyment from performing at these events - no matter what age they are! Appearing on "The Disney Club" was a definite highlight and a memory that will last for everyone!!
