North West Alliance Against Asbestos

Ongoing Campaign in Killala and the North West to prevent IEP Ltd from bringing an Asbestos Incinerator to Killala, Co. Mayo.

We are fighting to protect our children's health and futures from this poison.

Please join us in:-

The Procession of the Innocents

SUNDAY, 12TH DECEMBER AT 6.30PM

KILLALA COMMUNITY CENTRE, KILLALA, CO. MAYO

This will involve a short Ecumenical Prayer Service in Killala Community Centre, led by:-

The Most Rev. John Fleming D.D.,Bishop of Killala; Rt. Rev. Richard Henderson, Bishop of Tuam, Killala and Achonry; and the Rev. John Mann

followed by a

Candlelight Procession of The Children of the North West

and their families through a darkened village to Killala Pier.

There, the people of the North West will share a verse of

'The West's Awake', before sending 30 candlelights out to sea

(representing the 30 dirty jobs that IEP are offering).

(We have invited the children of over 200 schools and more than 70 parishes and we are expecting a huge response)

Rain, Hail or Shine - the procession will go ahead!

We need your support - please be there!
