Supporting Children with Autistic Spectrum disorders.

The Family Centre, Chapel St., Castlebar and the Mayo Education Centre will host an evening for parents and teachers of school going children with Autistic Spectrum disorders, including Aspergers', on Thursday 28th November at 7.30 pm in the Education Centre, Westport Road, Castlebar. Ecumenical Service for those bereaved through Suicide.

Families who have been affected by suicide need the support of others in the Community to help them through these difficult times. The Family Centre, Chapel St., Castlebar hold an annual Ecumenical service for those bereaved by suicide and members of the Community as well as the families affected are invited to attend. The service will take place in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Friday 29th November at 7.30 pm. Further details from 094 90 25900.

One day retreat for Advent.

A one day retreat to prepare for Advent will take place in the Family Centre, Chapel St., Castlebar on Saturday 30th November starting at 10.30 a.m. It will mark the end of the Year of Faith and the need to continue to nurture our Faith by focusing on coming aside to explore the Advent themes with some of the Scripture women and men associated with this time.
