Helping children with Autism

Two parents will share their experience of ways that they have found helpful to support their son who was diagnosed with autism. In recent times they have found new ways of communicating with him which has enabled him to enjoy a better quality of life and open up possibilities they had all hoped for. Caroline and Brian Galvin will share this learning with anybody who would like to attend an informal talk they will give in the Family Centre, Chapel St., Castlebar on Monday 19th October starting at 7.30 p.m.

Rainbows for Children. A new Rainbows programme for children between 7 and 18 years who have experienced loss in their lives through either the separation of their parents or the death of somebody they were close to is starting in the Family Centre on Wednesday 4th November at 6.30 p.m. Early booking essential.

Common Sense Parenting programme for parents of school going children starting on Monday 2nd November at 10 a.m. Booking essential.
