The GOAL Christmas Challenge

Recently crowned world boxing champion Ray Moylette from Islandeady has accepted the GOAL challenge and will lead a team in the mile run. He has in turn issued a challenge to all sports clubs and organisation in Castlebar to take part in the GOAL challenge on Christmas morning.

Would your club/organisation be willing to take part and raise badly needed funds for GOAL and at the same time add a bit of craic to the Christmas morning in Castlebar.

Teams can range from one person to as many as can be mustered. The wearing of club jersies/colours is optional.

The challenge starts and finishes at the new Aldi car park with the route going up the Lannagh road, through the holiday village and back by the shores of Lough Lannagh. The challenge can be completed either by running, jogging, walking or even dancing and there is no time or age limit.
