MIA CHRISTMAS PARTY

Mayo Intercultural Action (MIA) Christmas Party will take place in our offices (Castle St. Car Park, Castlebar) on Friday 19th December at 7:30 pm.  It will be an informal gathering and light refreshments will be provided.  If there is a typical Christmas food from your country we invite to bring it along on the night for people to sample.  We expect that there will be intercultural singing, music and entertainment on the night so make sure to bring along your musical instrument and a party piece!! This party is open to everyone and we look forward to seeing you there.  Fáilte roimh chách!!

JOBS CLUB IN MAYO INTERCULTURAL ACTION

Mayo Intercultural Action are recruiting for a Jobs Club which will take place in MIA offices, Castle Street Car Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.  The Jobs Club will be facilitated by Jackie Brennan from Meitheal Mhaigheo and takes place from 10 am to 1 pm from Monday to Friday from 13 to 31 January 2009. This is a unique opportunity for people to gain skills and expertise in CV preparation, interview skills, jobs resourcing and would greatly benefit people looking for work.  Places are limited so contact MIA at 094 904 4511 or miamayo@eircom.netas soon as possible to book your place.
