Minister for Tourism Michael Ring put his support behind the Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail and Mayo Roscommon Hospice's March 18th 19th and 20th Walking Festival. Representatives from the Trail and Hospice were with the Minister at Clogher for a launch photo shoot at Clogher Community Hall.

Route & Distance
Friday 18th March - Balla to Ballintubber (20 km).
Registration 9.00am in Balla Community Centre.
Meeting point is the car park in front of Corley's Pub, Ballintubber at 8.30 am sharp (everyone will be transported to the starting point in Balla).

Saturday 19th March - Ballintubber to Aughagower (21km).
Registration 9.00am in Corley's Pub Ballintubber
Meeting point is Aughagower Village at 8.30 am, parking at church. (everyone will be transported to Ballintubber by bus)
Sunday 20th March Aughagower to Murrisk (21km).

Registration 9.00am Aughagower Community Centre Tea/Coffee.
Meeting Point Murrisk, Campbells Pub. 8.30am sharp, transport to Aughagower.

Walk in Mayo with the ancient mountain of Croagh Patrick as your destination. Come and walk the Croagh Patrick Heritage Walking Trail and experience unspoilt landscape and rich heritage in County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland.

Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail is a 60 kilometre national way-marked walk which begins in the village of Balla in east Mayo and ends at the village of Murrisk at the foot of Croagh Patrick on the shores of Clew Bay. This year the trail will be run with Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation as the charity partner.

Three Days Registration €50
