Mayo Stroke Support Group

Mayo Stroke Support Group is a voluntary group, supported by the HSE and local Heart & Stroke Charity, Croí. It provides an invaluable resource to many individuals affected by stroke in Mayo, and their families and carers.

Launched in 2010, the Stroke Support Group aims to facilitate social activities; provide information; raise awareness; and offer support and advice on living with stroke, to its many members. The Support Group continues to hold monthly meetings on the last Thursday of every month alternating between Castlebar and Ballina.

The first meeting of the autumn schedule entitled ‘Emotional Health after Stroke - challenges and resources' will take place on Thursday 26^th September from 11.30am to 1pm in the Castlebar Tennis Club.
