New Year's Day Windmill Walk

Ballyvary Hurling and Camogie Club in County Mayo are again organising this very popular New Year's Day Walk.

The walk will be a moderate 14km walk. It will start and finish at Sraheen School. Registration will take place at 10:30am at Sraheen School.

This New Year's Day walk will take in the rolling hills between Sraheen, Knocksaxon and Keelogues. There will be refreshments at hand at the half way point overlooking Carramore Lake. The walk should take 3 to 3 ½ hours.

Individuals or members of local walking clubs are invited to participate in the walk and everyone will be asked to register before the walk.

Registration cost is €10 per person and this will go towards the development of the club. If you are going to come, please bring a few family or friends with you.
