New Youth Clubs for Ballyhaunis

It is proposed to set up two new Youth Clubs for young people in Ballyhaunis – a Foroige Club and a No Name Club.  Both organisations believe that young people should be to the forefront in running the clubs with some support from the adult volunteers. 

Both Foroige and No Name Club are national voluntary organisations who will provide training and support for the new volunteers.  We would like to extend an open invitation to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer (or who simply wants to find out a little bit more), to come along on 25 June at 9pm to the Parochial Hall, Ballyhaunis.  Andy Neary from Foroige, Con Nolan from No Name Club, Breda Ruane – Youth Officer with Co Mayo VEC and Therese Ruane - Mayo Intercultural Action (MIA) will be there on the night to answer any questions or queries you might have.
