Holy Orthodox Liturgy for 15th August 2pm,
Church of The Holy
Rosary Castlebar.
All are Welcome.
High Solemnity of The Dormition (
falling alsleep of the Holy Theotokos ( birth Giver) and Blessed Virgin
Mary . Fast ends Today at Midday fish wine oil allowed. The Holy Icon
of the Theotokos can be venerated and people present will be blessed
with it during Holy Liturgy. Please bring fragrant herbs to be blessed
on this day as is traditional in all Orthodox Catholic Churches.
We join with our Sister Church of Rome in honour and Praise to the
Holy Theotokos (birth giver) this day, and pray for Gods blessing on
the Clergy and Parishioners of the Holy Rosary Church and the
intercession of the Holy Theotokos.
