Suicide Awareness

Family Resource Centres in Mayo & Galway are delighted to announce their Suicide Awareness Project to coincide with National Suicide Awareness Week.

They were recently funded by the National Office for Suicide Prevention. Family Resource Centres are prioritising suicide prevention in the 13 communities in response to the growing need throughout the region.

Anne O'Shaughnessy from Clann Family Resource Centre is delighted to host the employment of a part-time worker who will roll out this initiative.

This work is to begin in mid-September.
