Mayo League Round 2
The second round of the Mayo League was held on the Shra circuit on Sunday last, with a good turnout from the clubs in the region with 25 seniors and 22 underage signing on.
Shane Mulchrone Covey Wheelers was first in Under-12 but not without a great challenge from David Brody Castlebar C.C.
Covey Wheelers Francis Sheridan had a good performance to win at Under-14, from Christopher Kennedy, Covey Wheelers.
Under-16: This age group were in with the main race and Jack Sheering Castlebar C.C finished first Under-16 and 3rd overall, Diarmaid Hughes Covey Wheelers in 2nd place and 5th overall.
In the senior race Paul Kilcourse Castlebar C.C was again in the final shake up for the second round and is now the one to watch, with second place going to the first round winner Paul Fahy, Castlebar C.C.
