PUDDLETOWN
Local songwriter has songs launched by wonderful local musicians

Local songwriter launches a collection of new songs interpreted by John Hoban and Teresa Burke. All will receive a warm welcome to Puddletown, where according to Tom Hughes "even the drowning get left high and dry".

Recently featured on RTE's John Murray show this collection of original songs composed by Mayo-based songwriter Tom Hughes, has received significant acclaim from many quarters recently.

Puddletown will be presented by John Hoban, Teresa Burke and friends. John will bring his master musicianship and together with the remarkably true voice of Teresa Burke, they will give life to places we all know well (and yet not at all) in this live performance of the Album.

Join with John, Teresa and friends to hear the haunted songs, the fading whispers of the dead still breathing life into the gathered embers, the candle kept lit, the cave walls daubed with the signs of magic in Bolger's car park, by Lough Lannagh, in a puddle on Stabal Hill, the stars reflected, shedding the dust of galaxies and skin....

People of Mayo can hear the premier of this new and enchanting album at two forthcoming performances -

Ballina Arts Centre on Friday 27th June at 8 p.m

Tickets available from Linenhall Arts Centre Castlebar and Ballina Arts Centre
