Smart Travel Castlebar are teaming up with Castlebar Cycling Club to bring BIKE FEST to the Castlebar CROÍ Festival next Friday 22nd July between 12:30 and 2 pm at the Castle Street Plaza and Car Park. A range of activities to promote cycling will be on offer - outdoor spinning sessions; information stands by bicycle shops; cycle-safety instruction; free check up for your bike; slow bicycle race.

Thérèse Ruane, Chairperson of Smart Travel Castlebar is calling on everyone, of all ages to come along, join in and participate:

"This is a great opportunity for anyone to learn more about cycling safety, get information and advice, have a free bike check, while having fun at the same time. We organised the first Bike Fest some weeks ago during Bike Week and it was really successful. We're delighted to work in partnership with Castlebar Cycling Club on this and to be part of the CROÍ festival in Castlebar.
