As part of the Arthur Guinness Projects, Guinness are offering money to help the arts, sports, music and food in Ireland. A public vote decides the top ten percent and then a judging panel (including Moone Boy creator Chris O'Dowd in the arts section) decide which projects get funded.

Cian McGarrigle's project Heist Take Two is a comedy about a bank employee who decides to rob her own place of work during the filming of a reconstruction for Crimecall.

You can read more about the project and vote here: https://www.arthurguinnessprojects.com/arts/heist-take-two-a-feature-film

Please vote and share as you see fit. You can vote once per day - projects must be in the top 10% of votes to be in with a chance of funding.

No Messages - recently accepted for the Orlando Film Festival.

Cian's last short film No Messages won awards both in Ireland and internationally. It was selected for festivals across Ireland, UK, Europe and North America and recently screened on RTE. In the Irish Times Donald Clarke said of No Messages "...the picture looked like the pilot for a situation comedy that you might actually want to watch. The acting was confident. The jokes were secure." The full film (and full list of awards/screenings) can be viewed here: http://vimeo.com/70025706
