Entrepreneurship in UK and the Supports Available to Start Ups

INC60 is a new business network for start ups focusing on entrepreneurial topics in the West. It is a fast paced, (60mins) and thought provoking session for business people. It was set up by entrepreneurs based at the GMIT Innovation Hub in Castlebar and is kindly sponsored by Lionbridge Technologies.

Next month's meeting will take place on Friday 4 th July in the GMIT Innovation Hub Castlebar at the earlier time of 8.30am where Paul Caplis Head of Investment UK Trade Investment, British Embassy in Dublin will give a brief pre recorded presentation on "Entrepreneurship in UK and the Supports Available to Start Ups".

Paul's background is in Law, Marketing and Media and has lived and worked in the UK for six years. Paul joined UKTI in 2007 and is responsible for helping Irish companies to set up and grow in the UK. Paul has been instrumental in the successful launch of a number of Irish businesses in the UK and continues to support their on going development. UK Trade and Investment helps British Companies into the Irish Market and Irish companies to set up and grow in the UK.

Paul works with Irish companies across all sectors from those that wish to set up starter Sales/Marketing/Administration offices with just two or more staff - right up to companies that are considering establishing large scale operations such as Manufacturing, Distribution Centres, R& D facilities, etc.

During the 60 minute meeting, the audience is grouped to brainstorm the topic and questions will be put together for Paul who will skype in live at the end of the meeting.
