Continuing on from our successful meeting last month, our September's MOCC Meeting will take place on Wednesday 5th September @ 9.30am in the Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC) at GMIT Castlebar. Barry Egan - Western Regional Director of Enterprise Ireland will be our guest speaker at our meeting and he will guide you through the steps of applying for an Innovation Voucher.
The Innovation Voucher Initiative is designed to build links between Ireland's public knowledge providers and small businesses and create a cultural shift in the small business community's approach to innovation. Innovation in critical for business success and the Innovation Voucher scheme managed by Enterprise Ireland makes it easy for small companies (those employing less than 50 people) to develop new products, processes, services, or business models.
An Innovation Voucher allows you to concentrate on running your business while a 3rd party knowledge provider comes up with a solution that could take your business to the next level. Vouchers valued at €5,000 are available to have work done. Applications for an Innovation Voucher may be made from September 10th with a closing date for applications of September 30th.
MOCC is a business network run by businesspeople for businesspeople. The event is FREE of charge. All meetings last between one hour and 90 minutes, and the new 9.30am meeting time is in response to demand from members.
All you have to do is turn up on the day. More details on the Mayo Open Coffee Club are available on http://mayo-open-coffee-club.org/, or you can email any of the organisers: Judith Feehan (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Maria Staunton (Maria.Staunton@gmit.ie)
