STATEMENT ISSUED ON BEHALF OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IRELAND

The National Museum of Ireland wishes to advise that its sites
* Country Life at Turlough Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo
* Archaeology, Kildare Street Dublin 2
* Decorative Arts and History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7
 
will be closed on Thursday 26th February due to industrial action by the Civil Public and Services Union (CPSU).
 
The National Museum of Ireland regrets any inconvenience to intending visitors.
The Museum’s sites will re-open to a full service on Friday 27th February 2009 at 10am.
