Tennis Club Fire

A fire occurred at the new, almost completed, Tennis Club building early on Monday morning 1st June 2009. The cause is not clear and it is being investigated by Garda forensics. The Tennis Club offered a sincere thank you to the Fire Service & the local Gardaí, who got the fire under control very rapidly and managed to contain the fire. The damage is currently being assessed and thankfully nobody was injured. Unfortunately the fire has delayed the completion of the new Tennis Club project.
