Belcarra Sports Centre Committee were delighted to sign the contract for the development of Belcarra Sports Centre with PMcD Construction Ltd. The project is due to commence this month and be completed in 40 weeks. The Sport Centre was last updated in 1985 when the traditional open handball alley was roofed and dressing rooms were constructed. It is envisaged that the new Sports Centre will facilitate a range of sports including handball, racquetball, badminton, boccia and other sports for all ages. The project will cost approx €500k and is funded from grants, donations and local fundraising. Please support Belcarra Community Weekly Lotto and other fundraising events in 2012. The current Lotto Jackpot is €10,050.
