Success Continues for Claremorris No Name Club
4, Dec 2010 - 10:44

The recent graduation ceremony for the Claremorris No Name club in the Dalton Inn Claremorris was a vibrant and entertaining. The evening's highlight was of course the presentation of certificates in leadership skill to more than 50 young members who were involved in the Club in the last two years. Another 50 or so other new members who were successful in their interviews to join this year were introduced to the Club.

Claremorris No Name Club continues to be one of the most vibrant in the country; and this was evident on the night where a huge crowd was entertained by some of the All-Ireland winners of the No Name Club talent competition where Claremorris was by far the most sucessful club - winning four All-Ireland titles.

All of the speakers complimented the hard working adult committee for their commitment over the last nine years and for the contribution it has made to the positive development of the young people in the Claremorris area during this time.

Last year the club opened a dedicated No Name Club Youth centre. Thanks to the generosity of James and Patricia Keane and this now provides a save and relaxed environment for young people to meet. The facilities of the centre include pool, table soccer, X-Box room, Wii centre, darts, TVs and catering facilities and is open to members from 3rd year upwards.
