Following the recent successful visit to Mayo, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Mike Leddy and the Lady Mayoress Pauline Leddy, twelve elderly Irish emigrants from St. Eugen’s Centre for the Elderly in Birmingham will holiday in Mayo in September next. The visit is being hosted and sponsored by Mick Byrne publican Castlebar. The visitors will travel in a special adapted mini-bus presented to St. Eugene’s by the Tubbercurry Golf Club.
