Malin Head to Mizen Head Vintage Tractor Drive to Aid Mayo Holiday for Elderly Irish Emigrants in the UK.

From 4th – 8th July Newport born and Stafford based Mayoman Michael Clancy, and the West Coast Vintage Society, will undertake a 5 day Vintage Tractor Drive from Malin to Mizen in aid of Mayo Emigrants Liaison Committee Castlebar. 

The Mayo Emigrant Liaison Committee was founded in Castlebar in September 1999 has organised holidays to Mayo for almost 1,000 vunerable and isolated Irish emigrants in the UK.

This year’s holiday will cost in the region of €12,000.  The committee are appealing to the generosity of the public for their support of this worthy cause.  Donations can be made to Mayo Emigrant Committee account, Bank of Ireland Castlebar a/c no 79303046 sort code 90-37-44. 

The Committee wish to thank the chefs of Mayo for their help and support with this event and who are organising a draw over the next two months.
