Garda Mounted Unit Apearance

The organisers of the Bonamh Market and Heritage Day in Rush Street are delighted to announce that the Garda Mounted Unit will be visiting on Saturday morning.

This is a rare appearance of the unit in Castlebar and will add great atmosphere to the day.

A spokesperson for the Gardai said "they are really looking forward to coming to Castlebar this week and encourage people to come and talk to the members about the horses
and see them up close".

This is a great honour for the committee as the Garda Mounted Unit is in high demand and they advise to come early as the unit has another engagement that day: so don't be disappointed.
