The Greenway Challenge 2011

On bank holiday Monday August 1st a group of 32 people completed the first ever Greenway Challenge which was to walk from Achill to Westport. The group set out from Achill at 7am and completed the challenge at 4pm. Weathern conditions were ideal and a most enjoyable event was had by all who took part , ok apart from BLISTERS & SORE LIMBS !!!!!

We have now decided to make this event an annual one to be held once again on the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
