Football
The Mitchels had a most useful and informative game against Ballybofey last weekend. The game itself ended in a draw 1-11 each but all travelling members of the panel got in to the action at some stage. The younger players grasped the opportunity to show their skills and certainly many of the more 'mature' players will be seriously under pressure for their place this coming season. The Donegal side took this game very seriously and for most of the game was leading but the resolve of the Mitchels and their determination to succeed was very apparent and they indeed finished the game the stronger. Playing a fast and controlled game, the ball was moved from end to end, with a lot of interpassing and off the ball running. Opportunities for scores were limited by the hard but fair tackling of both defences. All in all a very worthwhile exercise and one which will certainly lay the foundation for the coming season.

Co. Board Tickets
Members are reminded to return their Co. Board tickets, sold of course, to the Sec James Rocke as soon as possible. Apart from the very important aspect of supporting football within the County, it is a vital source of revenue for the club. Members are asked to put in a special effort this year in order to surpass last years excellent result.

Sportlann
Work is progressing satisfactorily on the development work and the opening date is getting closer. This excellent facility will be available to members and so it is essential that new members pay their subscription to any of the club officers immediately
